Trauma Stewardship– An amazing book by Laura van Dernoot Lipsky about how working with trauma on various levels (including environmentalists, EMTs, therapists, etc.) can affect your entire way of viewing the world. She provides hands-on resources as well as a way of understanding our work that allows us to be sustainable change agents. The book is easy to flip through and pick up wherever you feel you need to start, including well-timed New Yorker comics placed throughout.
